Overview

Kimai is a professional time-tracker: log working hours against customers, projects, and activities, then turn them into reports, exports, and invoices. It supports multiple users with roles and team permissions, so a household or a small business can share one instance.

Setting up

Sign in with the default account and change the password from Settings:

• Username: admin
• Password: admin

Good to know

Email features (password resets, scheduled reports) work once an administrator adds an outgoing mail account in Settings and connects Kimai to it. Everything else works without one.
